What Information Do We Store and GDPR compliance?

We need a certain minimum amount of information to process your order and be able to contact you again about our courses – this means your name, your email and usually your mobile telephone number as well as which course you chose. We only take the minimum from you and we do not store it on-line longer than necessary to carry out our contract with you. We keep your records off-line, encrypted in a secure locked cabinet.

You have the right to request that any data we have should be deleted and we will comply with all requests in good time after your  course has taken place. Please use our contact form – but also see below ‘control of your data’ below, since there can be advantages of us having your data to hand.
In the case of gift certificates we need to store the data until the gift certificate has been redeemed and the tour or course taken so that we can carry out our duty to provide the course.

Security

We never take financial information – we leave that to Papal who are experts in security.

We do not contract our website out to external web-masters who would have access to passwords etc. Our database is kept on secure servers separate from the main website and it cannot be accessed except by us through our own web-space.

What do we Use this Information For ?

We use this data to process your orders efficiently and so we can answer any enquiries you may have about your own booking(s). Once you course has been completed we keep the information as a record but this information will be taken off-line and kept in an encrypted form off-line in a secure place within one month of your order completion.

We do not and will not pass on or sell details of any customer to an third party. The data is for the use of photofaculty.com and may be used also for any improvement  to photofaculty which may include new sub domains or additional photfaculty-run websites.

 

Your Control over your Data

You can opt out at any time from any contact by un-subscribing should we contact you.

In addition if you wish to have your basic on-line data removed at any time, please email us and we will comply as soon as practically possible. . Before having your data removed please be aware of some of possible consequences where we might need to advise you of progression routes etc.
