Photography Courses Guide

Photofaculty has a range of courses catering for beginners to advanced photography.

It can be difficult to know where you fit into this, especially if you are choosing a course for someone else. These pages are to help you decide which level will suit you best.

Beginners: we consider you as a beginner if any two of these apply

  • If you are still using Auto mode on your camera.
  • If you are unsure of what most of the buttons do
  • If you cannot make any sense of the manual

we will sort all these things out on a beginners course in roughly four hours. Our courses are intensive but enjoyable - you must expect to work and concentrate hard.

Intermediate: we consider you as intermediate if you satisfy most of these.

  • If you can use Shutter and Aperture priority modes
  • If /when you use manual mode you get very varied exposure results
  • If you understand white balance and how to set custom on your camera
  • If you feel at home with your camera

Advanced: we consider you as advanced

  • If you have technical mastery over your camera
  • You want to produce a great body of work over time

check our courses in terms of your standard
